Ariel and Joaquin sat with us at Starbucks and talked about their vision for photography. The conversation was lively and felt effortless. As we got to know Ariel it was clear that all things connected with her were to be animated and fun, while Joaquin was laid back and left much to the imagination regarding the conclusion he was drawing. One thing was clear, we all were on the same page about how we would go about making beautiful images that Ariel and Joaquin would cherish for years to come. He wanted urban and she wanted romantic. So we headed to Mt. Charleston on a chilly Sunday afternoon to make their visions become a singular reality. The lighting was wonderful but temperatures left the couple shivering. Eric and I were hopeful that the weather conditions wouldn't put a chill on the images. However, we didn't need to worry. By the time we concluded the shoot, no one was thinking about how cold it was because we were having fun. Joaquin even let us know,"It's decided, we like you." No guessing there. The results were certainly worth the effort. Yeah it was cool like that! chill like that! Please show us some love and leave a comment letting us know what you think. Sabrina, a budding designer, was named from the poetry of Milton. She took her time getting comfortable in front of the camera. We know and love her parents and were curious to see what the only girl among four boys would feel comfortable allowing the lense to capture. Sabrina is a natural beauty and interestingly, our favorite portrait was not of her smiling, instead it was an image that showed her intensity and will. With that many brothers, a girl has to be strong, and this picture screams that!
Karen & Sam's Wedding was amazing! My wife and I had a wonderful evening under the Las Vegas stars with them! There was so much love as a diverse group of guests and family joined in celebrating the union of this young couple who clearly adore each other. What a privilege to share this evening with them.
